The National Association of Cider Makers (NACM) has launched its new Corporate Partners membership, open to businesses that work closely with the UK cider industry and share its ambitions for the future.

Agrii, a leading provider of agronomy services, technology and strategic advice, is the first company to join.

Corporate Partner membership has been introduced to recognise the wider network of businesses that work closely with British cider makers and growers, from agronomy and orchard services through to packaging, technology and hospitality. It gives these businesses a formal route to connect with NACM’s membership, which represents all types of cider makers, from the largest cider companies in the world to the smallest businesses supplying cider to their local area.

Agrii works with farmers and growers across the UK, providing agronomy services, technology and strategic advice. To do this, they harness the latest research and innovations across crop protection, seed, fertiliser, and technology, all trialled and tested at their network of iFarms and technology centres. Working with farming business, they ensure you meet today’s sustainable challenges with knowledge and confidence.

Mark Hopper, Public Affairs Director at NACM, said: “Agrii is a well-known name across British farming, and we’re delighted to welcome them as our first Corporate Partner. It’s a strong start and shows there’s real appetite among the businesses that work alongside cider makers to be part of what we do. We’d encourage others working closely with the industry to get in touch.”

Matt Greep, Head of Fruit at Agrii, said: “We work closely with orchards and growers right across the UK, so joining NACM as a Corporate Partner makes a lot of sense for us. We’re looking forward to being part of the cider industry in this way and supporting its work going forward.”

Corporate Partners benefit from invitations to NACM events including the Annual Trade Event and Early Summer Orchard Day, recognition on the NACM website and in member newsletters, and use of the Corporate Partner logo.
