HALF STANDARD TREES

Half Standard wire guard (48" long x 44" wide)         £2.10 each + VAT

Tree Tie (24" x 1" wide)                                                30p each + VAT

Cost per apple tree, guard and tie                               £18.40 each + VAT = £18.82

 

Half standard stake – we advise you to purchase locally – a barbed wire stake, 5'6" to 6' long x 3"-4" diameter, is suitable.

 

Recommended planting distance 19' x 19' or 24' x 15' on a triangular pattern = 120 trees per acre.

Mulch Mat 55cm x 55cm                                               75p each + VAT

 

Cost per acre of materials for 30' x 35' planting (40 apple trees per acre) = £1092 + VAT where applicable.

 

NB: Tree ties also available in coils at 15p per foot run at 1" wide (49p per metre) or 23p per foot at 1.5" wide (74p per metre).  Other sizes are available to order.

 

Special varieties can be grown to order - subject to availability of budding/grafting wood.
