TV success sees coverage extended

Thanks to the success of Thatchers first television campaign this summer, the Somerset cider maker has announced it is extending its airtime to include three new regions.

Now taking in ITV Central East, Meridian Thames Valley,and Meridian South Coast, the Thatchers Gold campaign is already running throughout across ITV West Country, West, Central West and Central South.

Entitled People Who Care About Cider, the 30 second animated commercial for Thatchers Gold celebrates the heritage and care that Thatchers brings to its ciders. The campaign has been supported by trade press, and 48 sheet outdoor posters sites.

Martin Thatcher,Managing Director of Thatchers said, 'We have been receiving extremely positive feedback both from the trade and members of the public about our campaign. 

'We achieved almost 70% increase on Thatchers Gold sales in June and July, we are rapidly growing our distribution, and are now in a position to spread the message to a wider audience for the remainder of the summer.'
