2009 Village Cricket Cup gets Scrumpy Jack Backing

Scrumpy Jack has announced it has renewed its association with the quintessential British game through its continued sponsorship of the npower Village Cup.
The sponsorship of the flag ship village cricket competition, enables the brand to be the 'cider of the village cricket green', and with over 400 teams expected to enter, will be seen and enjoyed up and down the country.
The cricket promotion continues to place Scrumpy Jack in its drinking heartland and re-enforces its English countryside heritage,as Scrumpy Jack is made from English Apples from the heart of Herefordshire.
The npower Village Cup was established in 1972 and is organised and run by The Wisden Cricketer, the UK's biggest cricket magazine. The npower Village Cup champions the grassroots of the game and to give village teams the chance to compete in the annual final at, the "home of cricket", Lord's.
